Heli-Skiing

Have you ever dreamed of heli skiing in the mountains of Canada? Have you ever wondered if you can "heli" snowboard? Have you watched the movies and doubted your ability to do it yourself? Well, if you can handle the "blue" (intermediate) runs at your ski area, then you too CAN experience our fantastic high alpine powder!

Ski Day
* The Guide will chose the best ski area for the day and will ski or board with the group.
* Mountain lunch is provided on the hill.
* The photography crew will capture the excitement by filming a video of one of your runs and taking still photos. You may purchase these souvenirs from Whistler Heli-Skiing's in-store photo department.
Note: Video and photos are only available with Bell 212 helicopter packages.

Apres Ski Party
Everyone meets at Buffalo Bills in the Whistler Village to relax and enjoy the video presentation. Invite your friends to join you and the heli-ski team as you re-live the day's thrill ride.

Whistler Heli-Skiing Ability Levels

What to Wear

• Please dress the same way you would for skiing on Whistler Blackcomb.
• Goggles are a must.
• Sunglasses with retention straps are acceptable only in the spring.
• Sunscreen - mandatory in the spring.
• A wool or fleece hat. Ball caps are not recommended.
• Experts wishing to bring their shovel packs may do so if it is small and approved by the guide in the morning.
• Backpacks are not recommended.  If you bring a backpack it should be small, you will be expected to ski with it the entire day. The guide will not be responsible for carrying your gear. Nothing may be left in the helicopter.

Equipment
Rossignol Powder Skis or Burton Snowboards are recommended.

Fuel Surcharge
Please note a fuel surcharge of $25/per person plus GST will be applied at time of reservation.

Please Note: Rates above are per person based in CAD funds and exclusive of taxes and fees. People of different abilities that would like to ski together have to ski at the level of the lowest ability in their group. Therefore if there is an advanced skier and expert, they would both sign up as advanced and do the three run day. The expert may choose to extra runs at the end of the day while the advanced skier flies out.

Star Ratings
Our selection of accommodations have been rated and assigned stars to help make your travel decisions easier. The star categories are as follows:
	Luxury accommodations for the sophisticated traveler. Typically offering complete personal service, deluxe surroundings and the highest standards of comfort with the most extensive facilities and services.
	Superior accommodations geared toward the discriminating traveler offering excellent hospitality and customer service. They may offer a wider range of amenities and services.
	Comfortable accommodations offering above average facilities and services with amenities.
	Modest accommodations suitable for those seeking value over atmosphere. They may offer limited on-site facilities and services.
	Economy accommodations geared to the budget traveler. They are clean, basic and offer minimal facilities and services.
	Indicates an accommodation choice that falls between full-star ratings.
Villas/Condos	These smaller properties may not include all the amenities of a hotel. The star rating should be used as a guideline for general comparison.
Our star ratings are based on many factors including, but not limited to, accommodations, facilities, services, price and overall quality. These star ratings are updated as frequently as possible but cannot be guaranteed accurate. They are intended only as a guide to help with your vacation planning decisions.
